Hill Engineering Automated Tube Piercing Machinery

Over the course of Hill Engineering’s 70+ year history, we have designed and built cutoff dies and systems for the tubing industry and the roll forming industry. Besides basic tube cutoff dies, we have built in-line punching and end swaging dies, side-action cutoffs and dimple-free cutoff systems. Outside of Hill Engineering's tooling, we also provide spare cutting jaws and blades for Yoder, Dahlstrom, and Tishken dies and systems.

Hill Engineering Automated Tube Piercing Machinery includes the following features:

• Produces spacer tubes for fuel cells
• .304″ th. Stainless, .515″ od X .011″ wall
• Four rectangular slots pierced in each tube
• Every tube is burr free, clean and non-distorted
• Air driven cam-pierce design piercing two slots per stroke
• Special tooling was designed to accept a family of different size parts
• System produces 400 finished pieces per hour
