Over the course of Hill Engineering’s 70+ year history, we have designed and built cutoff dies and systems for the tubing industry and the roll forming industry. Besides basic tube cutoff dies, we have built in-line punching and end swaging dies, side-action cutoffs and dimple-free cutoff systems. Outside of Hill Engineering's tooling, we also provide spare cutting jaws and blades for Yoder, Dahlstrom, and Tishken dies and systems.
Hill Engineering Automated Tube Punching Machinery include the following features:
- Hydraulically and pneumatically operated
- Punches four asymmetrically located holes in tube circumference
- System provides 100% inspection for defects in length and orientation
- Produces finished parts at a rate of 600 to 800 pieces per hour
